Piaget values its customers and knows that they care about how their personal data is used and shared. Piaget appreciates the trust its customers place in it, and ensures that all personal data is treated appropriately. This notice describes the privacy policy of Piaget for customers residing in the United States of America.

1. Privacy Policy

Piaget North America, Branch of Richemont North America, ("Piaget" or referred to herein as "us", "our" or "we") a corporation organized and existing under the laws of Delaware, and having its corporate headquarters at 645 Fifth Avenue, 5th Floor, New York, NY 10022, U.S.A., takes the privacy of its customers seriously and has established its Privacy Policy in respect of the confidence its clientele places in it.

This Privacy Policy governs personal information we collect from our customers through the Piaget website and over the telephone.

2. Note to minors and children

No part of this site is directed to children under age 13 and we will not knowingly collect personal information from any child under age 13.

To register or place an order through the website or through the Piaget Concierge, you must have reached the age of majority (which in most states is 18 years old) and have legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are under the age of majority or cannot lawfully enter into a contract, you must advice your parent or legal guardian to review this Privacy Policy and our Conditions of Sale before you register or place an order.

Should we discover or be informed that a child has registered his/her or another child's personal details, we will delete such information from our records.

3. Note to parents

Piaget will not intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children under age 18. 4. Telephone calls

All telephone calls to the Piaget Concierge may be recorded for security reasons and retained for a period determined by Piaget.

5. Personal information collection and use

In order to place an order through the website, you will be required to register and create an online account. During this process, you will be required to provide valid and up-to-date personal information, including but not limited to your real name, phone number and e-mail address, as well as other personal information as applicable, such as shipping address, billing address and payment details (collectively "Personal Information").
Should you contact the Piaget Concierge by telephone, you may also be required to provide such Personal Information.

Additional information may also be collected by Piaget or its third party providers for security and anti-fraud purposes.

6. Cookies

We use technology such as "cookies" on our website to store your user ID and password, track selections and purchases, and enhance your shopping experience. Cookies are pieces of electronic information stored on your computer. You may disable cookies through the settings in your web browser, but if you do so, some parts of our website may not function properly.

Your personal financial information will not be used for any purpose except for processing your order and completing the transaction, as set forth in this Privacy Policy, and/or as requested by law.

Except as stated herein, Piaget will not share your Personal Information with any unaffiliated third party without your prior consent or unless required to do by law or legal process.

If Piaget or substantially all of its assets are acquired as a result of an acquisition, merger, sale, reorganization or liquidation, your Personal Information may be one of the transferred assets.

Any Personal Information you make available to Piaget is done so voluntarily, with your knowledge and consent when ordering product or registering for services from Piaget. We will request from you information that is mandatory (required by us to fulfill your order and meet our legal obligations) and non-mandatory (which you can give to us if you chose); if you choose not to provide the mandatory information requested then Piaget may not be able to respond to your request or activate your option choices.

Personal Information collected will be stored and processed in the United States, Switzerland and France where Piaget and its affiliates, parent, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by submitting your Personal Information, you consent to any such transfer of Personal Information outside of your country.

Piaget has taken all commercially reasonable measures to ensure that your Personal Information is handled in a secure and proper manner. Piaget (please refer to the Company Information above) is responsible for the management of jointly used Personal Information (described below) unless otherwise indicated.

7. Joint use of personal data

The following information will be used jointly by Piaget, Paymetric, Inc., who provides the on-line payment portal, and your credit card company to process payment of your order, and Accertify, Inc. who handle credit checks and fraud prevention:

  1. Your name and address;
  2. Your credit card information;
  3. The identification of the product(s) you have ordered; and
  4. The price paid for the product(s) you have ordered.

Your credit card company is responsible for their use of your Personal Information and should be contacted directly with regard to any matter regarding their use of your Personal Information.
All the information defined as your Personal Information will be used jointly by Piaget and other members of the Piaget group including Richemont International S.A., in Switzerland to ensure that your personal information is hosted in a secure environment.

8. Security

Piaget is committed to protecting the security of your Personal Information.

We will employ all commercially reasonable measures to ensure that details of your order and payment are held securely. In the absence of negligence on our part, we shall not be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorized access to any Personal Information you provide to us via the Website or when ordering from Piaget by telephone through the Piaget Concierge.

9. Your rights

If you request disclosure, correction, deletion or that Piaget stop using your Personal Information, Piaget will deal with such requests in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The deletion of your Personal Information or a request for Piaget to stop using it will result in the cancellation of your registration.
